North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT)

Founded in 1990, NASTT is a not-for-profit, educational and technical society that is dedicated to promoting the benefits of trenchless technology for public awareness through education, training and research.

International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT)

The International Society for Trenchless Technology was established in 1986 to advance the science and practice of Trenchless Technology for the public benefit, and to promote education, training, study and research in that science and practice. ISTT encourages the formation and affiliation of societies sharing its objectives world-wide. There are now more than 20 such Affiliated Societies in 6 continents.

Trenchless Technology Center (TTC)

The Trenchless Technology Center (TTC), originally formed as the Trenchless Excavation Center in 1989, was created to promote research, development and technology transfer in the trenchless technology industry. Located at the Louisiana Tech University, the TTC is a university/industry cooperative research cente.

Trenchless Information Center (TIC)

The TIC is dedicated to providing information to the end user about the trenchless technology industry, including up-to-date information and contacts for the various technologies.

Centre for the Advancement of Trenchless Technology (CATT)

Established in 1994 and located at the University of Waterloo, CATT’s objective is to help municipalities address their buried infrastructure challenges with specific reference to trenchless technologies. CATT is a grouping of university, municipal, industrial, business and government agencies committed to the advancement of knowledge, materials, methods and equipment used in trenchless technologies.

Tunnelling Association of Canada (TAC)

An arm of the International Tunnelling Association (ITA), among TAC’s objectives is the promotion and advancement of Canadian tunnelling and underground excavation technologies.

Trenchless Technology Magazine (TT Magazine)

TT magazine covers the north american trenchless technology industry. It is edited for engineers, contractors, and public works/utility officials, who are related to utility construction in the areas of water and sewer services; pipelines (transmission and distribution); and underground cable installations for power and communications.
